My post contDell has rolled out a wave of AI Factory enhancements aimed at stripping away the biggest barriers to enterprise AI adoption. Highlights include the Pro Max Plus AI PC with on-device Qualcomm inferencing, a data-center cooling system that can slash energy use by up to 60%, an expanded lakehouse for simpler data prep, and Project Lightning, billed as the world’s fastest parallel file system. New AI Security & Resilience Services wrap full-stack protection around models and data, while PowerProtect all-flash appliances promise four-times-faster restores with far less power and rack space. Dell is also widening its partner ecosystem—linking with Cohere, Google Gemini, Meta’s Llama, Nvidia and others—while extending private-cloud options through Broadcom, Nutanix and Red Hat. Early adopters such as the University of Cambridge and Oregon State University say the stack already cuts costs and boosts research pace. By combining greener infrastructure with tighter security and a broader AI toolkit, Dell hopes to position its AI Factory as the go-to launchpad for organizations ready to scale AI workloads with confidence.
